Our Laminated Lantern Pyramid features a 4 panel design which minimises the structure to maximise the daylight entering your home and can serve as a focal point in residential spaces. The symmetrical design is the perfect and effective way to transform your living spaces.
Our Skyseal products only have glazing units with laminated inner panes for protection from falling glass if accidentally broken.
Not all roof lanterns on the market have laminated glass panes. Instead, they have toughened glass which has an increased risk of injury to those below it if broken.
Slim Aluminium Frame
Our slimline aluminium frames are designed to maximise the amount of light to flow into your space. They were optimised to work in conjunction with the thermally efficient double-glazed units, reducing heat loss and protecting the energy efficiency of your home.
Easy Installation
Expertly designed to minimise the number of parts, maximising the ease of fitting, for efficiency now and throughout the lifetime of the lantern. Precision design removes the need for sealants in installation, apart from the contact of the kerb bar to the builders upstand.
Pre-machined holes and slots throughout maintain the integrity of the components, providing fast, easy assembly.

10-year warranty
Powder coat options: Grey RAL 7016, White RAL 9010 and Black RAL 9005
Low-e solar glass features a special metallic coating that reflects heat back to its source, keeping rooms warmer in winter by retaining interior heat and cooler in summer by reflecting solar heat away, while still allowing natural light to enter. Learn More
Do I really need Triple Glazing?
Triple Glazed skylights offer impressive thermal performance with U-values as low as 0.6 W/m²K, but the practical benefits may not justify the higher costs for most homes, as quality double glazing often provides sufficient insulation with better overall value. Learn More
What is a Thermal Break?
A thermal break is a low-conductivity material layer integrated into a skylight's aluminium frame that prevents the internal frame surface from becoming cold, effectively eliminating condensation problems while improving overall energy efficiency. Learn More
What is a U-value?
U-value measures heat loss through building elements like skylights, expressed in W/m²K, with lower values indicating better insulation. UK Building Regulations require maximum values of 2.2 W/m²K for existing homes and 1.2-1.7 W/m²K for new construction skylights Learn More
How do I measure and choose the correct size Skyseal Laminated Glass Roof Lantern?
The Skyseal Laminated Glass Roof Lantern is custom-made to your exact sizes. We work from external measurements and recommend your upstand is a minimum of 85mm wide.
To calculate your required size, measure the length and width from the outside edge of your timber upstand and fitted waterproof membrane.

The Skyseal Laminated Lantern is delivered in kit form and leaves the factory with all components checked and quality controlled. It is designed for simple mounting direct to a weathered builder’s upstand. Your builder or installer will have a comprehensive installation guide with all dedicated parts required for a speedy installation.
What Frame Colour options is the Skyseal Laminated Lantern available in?
Our Skyseal Laminated Lantern can be manufactured to any RAL colour. However, there are three standard colours which are available at no extra cost. You can also specify different colours internally and externally.

Do the Skyseal Roof Lanterns comply with building regulations?
Yes, Skyseal Roof Lanterns are fully compliant to Part L Building regulations.
Our highly-developed Aluminium frame provides extra strength and rigidity, minimising structural movement in the skylight once installed, which significantly reduces the chances of failure.
Extra Damage Protection
The aluminium frame acts as a protective layer, encapsulating the glass at its weakest points to prevent accidental damage that would otherwise shatter the glass.
Enhanced Home Security
Incorporating tamper-proof fixings alongside silicone sealant provide added security to your home, ensuring it remains safe and protected.
Extra Glass Support
The frame is key in providing extra support to the glass, ensuring the glass stays in place in the event of damage or shattering.
